On Tuesday evening, the Golden State Warriors will play the Washington Wizards in Washington, D.C.  

However, they will be without one of their best players, as 2022 NBA Champion Andrew Wiggins has been ruled out due to personal reasons.   

Via Anthony Slater of The Athletic: "Andrew Wiggins is now listed as out for the Warriors tonight against the Wizards. Personal reasons. It's the open of a four-game road trip."

Wiggins has played in 51 games this season and is averaging 12.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per contest while shooting 45.5% from the field and 35.1% from the three-point range. 

The Warriors are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 29-27 record in 56 games. 

They are 8-2 over their last ten games but most recently lost to the Denver Nuggets by a score of 119-103. 

In 31 minutes of playing time, Wiggins had 14 points, four rebounds, four assists and one block while shooting 5/10 from the field and 2/4 from the three-point range. 

Following the Wizards, the Warriors will visit the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Thursday evening. 

As for the Wizards, they have had a tough season and are the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 9-48 record in 57 games. 

They are in the middle of an 11-game losing streak and most recently lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 114-105. 

Following Golden State, the Wizards will travel to Los Angeles for a matchup with the Lakers on Thursday evening.
