On Friday evening, the Denver Nuggets hosted the Houston Rockets in Colorado.

They lost by a score of 114-106, and at the end of the game, star point guard Jamal Murray was ejected.

Via Bennett Durando of The Denver Post: "Jamal Murray seemingly got hacked. Yelled at the ref during play that it was a foul. Ref waited for MPJ to make a 3 that cut the deficit to 110-104 with 38 seconds left, then called another technical on Murray. He is ejected."

Murray finished his night with 21 points, five rebounds and three assists while shooting 6/17 from the field and 4/8 from the three-point range in 32 minutes of playing time.

With the loss, the Nuggets fell to 14-9 in their first 23 games, which has them as the third seed in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak, and this was their first home loss of the season (they are 9-1 in the ten games they have hosted in Denver).

Following the Rockets, the Nuggets will now play their next game against the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena on Monday in Georgia.

As for the Rockets, they improved to 10-9 in their first 19 games, which has them as the tenth seed in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and won their first game on the road (they are 1-8 in nine games away from Houston).

On Monday evening, the Rockets will be back at home to host the San Antonio Spurs.
