BREAKING: James Harden Made NBA History In Hawks-Clippers Game

On Sunday evening, the Los Angeles Clippers are playing the Atlanta Hawks (at home) in California.
James Harden returned to the starting lineup after a two-game absence.
During the second half, the 2018 MVP made NBA history by moving ahead of Vince Carter (25,728) for 20th on the all-time scoring list.
Following Carter, the next player for Harden to pass will be Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett (26,071).

Harden entered the evening with averages of 17.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 44.2% from the field and 40.3% from the three-point range in 59 games.
The Clippers have been among the best teams in the league and are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 42-24 record in 66 games.
They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to Brandon Ingram and the New Orleans Pelicans by a score of 112-104.
Following the Hawks, the Clippers will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they visit the Portland Trail Blazers in Oregon.
Harden was the third pick in the 2009 NBA Draft out of Arizona State and is in his 15th season in the league.
In addition to the Clippers, he has also spent time with the Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers, Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder.
His career averages are 24.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 44.2% from the field and 36.5% from the three-point range in 1,059 regular season games.
