BREAKING: James Harden Made NBA History In Rockets-Clippers Game
On Friday evening, the Los Angeles Clippers are hosting the Houston Rockets in California.
During the game, 2018 MVP James Harden made NBA history by moving up on the all-time assists list.
Harden came into the evening with 7,036 career assists, which was tied with Hall of Famer Tony Parker for 19th on the list.
He has now moved ahead of Parker, and the next player for him to pass will be Hall of Famer Tim Hardaway (7,095).

Harden came into the matchup with averages of 15.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 47.1% from the field and 37.0% from the three-point range in his first five games (he was recently acquired in a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers).
The 34-year-old was initially the third pick in the 2009 NBA Draft out of Arizona State and is in his 15th season in the league.
In addition to the 76ers and Clippers, Harden has also spent time with the Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets and Oklahoma City Thunder
Last season, he averaged 21.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 10.7 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 44.1% from the field and 38.5% from the three-point range in 58 games with the 76ers.
As for the Clippers, they are 3-7 in their first ten games and in the middle of a six-game losing streak (they have yet to win with Harden).
