UPDATE: The Lakers defeated the Warriors 127-97, and James finished with 21 points, eight rebounds, nine assists and one block.

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are playing Game 3 of their second-round playoff series against the Golden State Warriors at Crypto.com Arena on Saturday night.

During the game, the 19-time All-Star made remarkable NBA history by moving up on the all-time Playoff rebounds list.

James entered the night with 2,476 career Playoff rebounds, and with six in the game, he has now passed Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (2,481) for fifth on the list.

The next player for him to pass will be four-time NBA Champion Shaquille O'Neal (2,508).

Both O'Neal and Abdul-Jabbar are two of the greatest players to ever play for the Lakers franchise.

Via The NBA: "Congrats to @KingJames of the @Lakers for moving to 5th all-time in Playoff rebounds!"

James has proven throughout his career that he is arguably the most all-around basketball player to ever play in the NBA.

He is an elite scorer, rebounder and passer (and was once among the best defenders).

During the regular season, James passed Abdul-Jabbar to become the NBA's all-time leading scorer

At 38, the four-time NBA Champion is still one of the best players in the league and finished the regular season with sensational averages of 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field.

The Lakers are the seventh seed in the Western Conference, and beat the Memphis Grizzlies in the fist-round in six games.

Currently, they are tied up at 1-1 with the Warriors after Games 1 and 2 in San Francisco.
