Bronny James Has Record-Breaking NIL Deals
In his senior year at Sierra Canyon High School, Bronny James is not only making a name for himself on the basketball court, but via his name, image and likeness deals as well.
The oldest son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is well on his way to playing professional basketball and already, he has made more than some current NBA players!
According to On3’s NIL 100 Rankings, Bronny's NIL valuation is set at $7.2 million due to his deals with companies such as Nike, Beats by Dre and PSD Underwear.
The next closest "amateur athlete" to James is Arch Manning, the nephew of NFL greats Peyton Manning and Eli Manning, who is making about $3.7 million in NIL deals.
At this time, there are no updates on where Bronny James will play basketball following his senior year of high school.
He could take the traditional college basketball route that many have made, but there is always the possibility of pursuing other opportunities in the NBA G League and even overseas in the Australian NBL.
Eligible for the 2024 NBA Draft, Bronny figures to be a key NBA prospect to watch over the next few years, especially since his father's contract aligns with the time that he will be preparing for the NBA draft.
Participating in the 2023 McDonald's High School All-American Game recently, James scored 15 points on 5-8 shooting from three-point range.
It will be very interesting to see what Bronny James decides about his future and whether or not he will be able to team up with LeBron in the NBA very soon.
