Brooklyn Nets Make Roster Move After Knicks Game

The Brooklyn Nets made a roster move after Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the Brooklyn Nets hosted the New York Knicks at Barclays Center.

The game was close, but the Knicks were able to win by a score of 108-103.

Following the loss, the Nets made a roster move by recalling Noah Clowney from the G League.   

Via The Long Island Nets: "The Brooklyn Nets have recalled Noah Clowney from the Long Island Nets. 

Clowney has averaged 16.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.9 blocks in 28.9 minutes per game in 11 regular season games for Long Island."

Clowney was the 21st pick in the 2023 NBA Draft out of Alabama and has played in two games for the Nets this season. 

He is currently averaging 7.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists per contest while shooting 66.7% from the field.   

As for the Nets, they are the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 17-26 record in their first 43 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and are 2-8 over their last ten games. 

Following the Knicks, the Nets will remain in Brooklyn to host Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday evening. 

At home, they are 10-11 in 21 games at Barclays Center, while they are 7-15 in the 22 games the have played on the road. 

The Nets are coming off a season where they were the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference and got swept in the first round of the NBA playoffs by Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers.
