Chet Holmgren's Block On LeBron James Is Going Viral In Thunder-Lakers Game
On Monday evening, the Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers are facing off in California.
During the game, Chet Holmgren blocked LeBron James, and the play got a lot of views on social media.
James drove straight to the basket, and Holmgren was able to send his shot out of bounds.
Holmgren missed all of last season, so this is his rookie year, and he is averaging 17.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.5 blocks per contest while shooting 55.7% from the field and 39.5% from the three-point range in 38 games.
He has been one of the best players in the league and helped the Thunder get off to a fantastic start.
They are 27-11 in their first 38 games, which has them as the second seed in the Western Conference.
Most recently, the Thunder beat the Orlando Magic (at home) by a score of 112-100.
In 32 minutes of playing time, Holmgren had 15 points, eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and two blocks while shooting 7/14 from the field and 1/5 from the three-point range.
The Thunder are 8-2 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a four-game winning streak.
Following the Lakers, they will play three more games on the road against the Los Angeles Clippers (on Tuesday), Utah Jazz (on Thursday) and Minnesota Timberwolves (on Saturday).
They will return home the following Tuesday when they host the Portland Trail Blazers in Oklahoma City.
On the road, the Thunder are 11-6 in 17 games, while they are 16-5 in 21 games at home.
