On Tuesday evening, the Oklahoma City Thunder are hosting the Minnesota Timberwolves in Oklahoma.  

During the game, Chet Holmgren had a fantastic dunk that is getting a lot of attention on social media.  

Holmgren cut to the basket, caught a bounce pass from Josh Giddey and finished off the play with a two-handed jam. 

Holmgren came into the day with averages of 17.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.7 blocks per contest while shooting 52.6% from the field and 36.9% from the three-point range in 27 games. 

The 2022 second-overall pick missed all of last season, so this is his rookie year, and he has already become one of the best players on the team. 

The Thunder are off to a fantastic start to the season and have an 18-9 record in their first 27 games, which has them as the third seed in the Western Conference. 

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Los Angeles Lakers by a score of 129-120. 

Following the Timberwolves, the Thunder will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they host the New York Knicks in Oklahoma City. 

As for the Timberwolves, they are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 22-6 record in their first 28 games.  

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 8-2 over their last ten games. 

Following the Thunder, the Timberwolves will play their next game on Thursday evening when they host the Dallas Mavericks at the Target Center.
