UPDATE: The Thunder won by a score of 112-95, and Chet Holmgren finished with 18 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, one steal and three blocks. 

On Tuesday evening, the Oklahoma City Thunder are playing the Houston Rockets (in Oklahoma).     

During the game, star rookie Chet Holmgren had a massive highlight that went viral on social media.

Holmgren has already established himself among the best players in the league and is averaging 17.1 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.6 blocks per contest while shooting 54.4% from the field and 40.3% from the three-point range in 57 games.   

He will have an excellent chance to win the 2024 Rookie of The Year Award.

In addition to Holmgren's excellent play, the Thunder are among the best teams in the league and have a 40-17 record in 57 games. 

They are in the middle of a five-game winning streak and are 8-2 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Thunder beat the Rockets (in Houston) by a score of 123-110, and Holmgren had 29 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, one steal and three blocks while shooting 11/16 from the field and 5/8 from the three-point range in 33 minutes of playing time. 

Following the Rockets, they will visit Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday evening in Texas. 

As for the Rockets, they are the 12th seed in the Western Conference with a 25-32 record in 57 games. 

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and will travel to Arizona for a matchup with the Phoenix Suns on Thursday evening.
