Chicago Bulls Announce A Roster Move
Terry Taylor is coming off a year where he played in 31 regular season games for the Chicago Bulls.
The 23-year-old averaged 2.9 points and 1.5 rebounds per contest while shooting 52.0% from the field.
This summer, Taylor became a free agent, but it's now been announced that he has re-signed with Chicago.
Via The Bulls on Monday: "The Chicago Bulls announced tonight the team has signed forward Terry Taylor. In accordance with team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed."
In addition to the Bulls, Taylor has also played for the Indiana Pacers.
His career averages are 6.4 points and 3.4 rebounds per contest while shooting 59.0% from the field and 29.8% from the three-point range in 64 regular season games.
Additionally, Taylor has spent time in the G League, and last year he averaged 19.6 points, 11.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per contest in eight regular season games (he also appeared in four Showcase Cup games).
At such a young age, Taylor could end up being a good role player for the Bulls next season, as he will likely only improve.
Last year, the Bulls were the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 40-42 record.
They made the play-in tournament but lost in the first game (at home) to the Toronto Raptors, so they missed the NBA playoffs.
The franchise has only made the postseason one time in the previous six seasons, but they have one of the most talented rosters in the league with DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine.
