Chicago Bulls Make A Roster Move

Henri Drell is coming off a year where he played for the Windy City Bulls (G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls).
The 23-year-old averaged 11.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 48.6% from the field and 34.1% from the three-point range in 29 regular season games (he also appeared in 19 Showcase Cup games).
On Tuesday, the Bulls announced that they had signed Drell (h/t HoopsRumors).

Drell initially went undrafted in 2022 and has yet to make his NBA debut (he has played two years in the G League).
In addition to his time with the Windy City Bulls, he has also played overseas.
Since the deal is for training camp, Drell will likely return to Windy City (if he doesn't make the roster).

As for the Bulls, they have a talented roster but are coming off a disappointing season.
They finished the regular season as the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 40-42 record.
Despite beating the Toronto Raptors (on the road) in their first play-in tournament game, the Bulls lost to the Miami Heat in the second.

In 2022, the Bulls made the NBA playoffs for the first time since 2017, when they finished as the sixth seed (they lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round).
The Bulls are led by Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic (all three have made multiple All-Star games).
