Chicago Bulls Release 3-Year NBA Player
Terry Taylor has played in 31 games for the Chicago Bulls this season.
The three-year veteran had been averaging 1.5 points and 1.2 rebounds per contest while shooting 51.3% from the field and 22.2% from the three-point range.
On Thursday, the Bulls announced that they had waived Taylor to make room for the signing of Javonte Green (h/t Will Gottlieb).
Via The Chicago Bulls Press Release: "The Chicago Bulls announced today that the team has signed guard/forward Jalen Green. In a corresponding move, the Bulls have waived forward Terry Taylor."
Taylor had been in his second season with Chicago and has also spent time with the Indiana Pacers.
His career averages are 4.8 points and 2.7 rebounds per contest while shooting 58.1% from the field and 28.8% from the three-point range in 95 games.
Taylor has spent a lot of time in the G League and averaged 19.6 points, 11.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per contest while shooting 51.6% from the field and 31.3% from the three-point range in eight regular season games this year.
As for the Bulls, they are the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 36-40 record in 76 games.
They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Atlanta Hawks (at home) by a score of 113-101.
Following the Hawks, the Bulls will play their next game on Friday evening when they host Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks at the United Center in Chicago.
