UPDATE: Chris Paul has now passed Pau Gasol.

Via The Warriors: "With tonight’s game, Chris Paul has passed Pau Gasol for 40th on the NBA’s all-time regular-season games played list 🤩"

On Tuesday evening, the Golden State Warriors hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

The Timberwolves won the game by a score of 104-101, and Karl-Anthony Towns led the way with 33 points, 11 rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Chris Paul finished his night with 15 points, five rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block.

Paul made NBA history by playing in the game, tying Hall of Famer Pau Gasol for 40th on the all-time regular season games played list

He has now played in 1,226 regular season games, and the next player for him to pass (after Gasol) will be Andre Iguodala (1,231).

Paul is in his first season with Golden State after getting traded (via the Washington Wizards) over the offseason.

He is one of the best point guards of all time, and even at 38, he still remains a very productive player.

With the loss, the Warriors are now 6-6 in their first 12 games and in the middle of a four-game losing streak.

That said, they were playing without Steph Curry (injury), and Klay Thompson and Draymond Green got ejected in the first quarter.

The Warriors will play their next game on Thursday evening when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder.

As for the Timberwolves, they improved to 8-2 in their first ten games and are now in the middle of a seven-game winning streak.

They will play their next game against Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday evening (in Arizona).
