Damian Lillard's Instagram Post After Bucks-Knicks Game
On Monday afternoon, the Milwaukee Bucks faced off against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
The Bucks lost the game by a score of 129-122, and Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 38 points.
Damian Lillard finished his day with 32 points, one rebound, eight assists and one steal while shooting 10/21 from the field and 4/13 from the three-point range in 38 minutes of playing time.
Following the loss, Lillard made a post to Instagram.
Lillard captioned his post: "Happy Holidays!"
Lillard is averaging 26.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 43.6% from the field and 37.7% from the three-point range in 28 games.
The Bucks are 22-8 in 30 games, which has them as the second seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are 8-2 over their last ten games and 6-6 in the 12 games they have played on the road away from Milwaukee.
Following the Knicks, the Bucks will stay in New York to face off against Mikal Bridges and the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday at Barclays Center.
Lillard is in his first season with Milwaukee after getting traded via the Portland Trail Blazers over the offseason.
The All-Star point guard spent the first 11 seasons of his career with Portland and led the franchise to the NBA playoffs eight times (they made the Western Conference Finals in 2019).
His career averages are 25.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 43.9% from the field and 37.3% from the three-point range.
