On Thursday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks hosted the Philadelphia 76ers in Wisconsin. 

The Bucks won by a score of 114-105, and two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 32 points. 

Damian Lillard finished his night with 17 points, three rebounds, nine assists, one steal and one block while shooting 7/16 from the field and 2/7 from the three-point range in 38 minutes of playing time.  

The All-Star point guard also made NBA history by moving ahead of Hall of Famer Bob Pettit for (20,880) for 43rd on the all-time scoring list

Following Pettit, the next player for Lillard to pass will be Hall of Famer Pau Gasol (20,894). 

Lillard is in his first season playing for the Bucks and is averaging 24.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 42.4% from the field and 35.2% from the three-point range in 62 games.  

With the victory, the Bucks improved to 43-24 in 67 games, which has them as the second seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are an outstanding 26-7 in the 33 games they have played on their home floor in Wisconsin. 

Following the 76ers, the Bucks will play their next game on Sunday afternoon when they host Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns. 

As for the 76ers, they dropped to 36-30 in 66 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference. 

Following the Bucks, they will play their next game on Saturday evening when they host the Charlotte Hornets.
