On Monday evening, the Cleveland Cavaliers hosted the Phoenix Suns in Ohio.

The game was close, but the Suns won by a score of 117-111, and 2014 MVP Kevin Durant led the way with 37 points, eight rebounds, six assists and one steal while shooting 14/26 from the field and 5/10 from the three-point range.

Despite the loss, Darius Garland had a good game and finished with 30 points, two rebounds, five assists and one steal while shooting 10/15 from the field and 7/9 from the three-point range in 36 minutes of playing time.  

During the game, the 2022 NBA All-Star made an excellent pass that got a lot of views on social media.  

Garland threw a one-handed assist to Damian Jones, who finished off the play with a dunk. 

Garland is having a productive season with averages of 18.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 45.6% from the field and 38.2% from the three-point range in 41 games. 

With the loss, the Cavs dropped to 41-24 in 65 games, which has them as the third seed in the Eastern Conference. 

Following the Suns, they will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they visit Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans. 

As for the Suns, they improved to 38-27 in 65 games, which has them as the sixth seed in the Western Conference. 

Following the Cavs, the Suns will travel to Massachusetts to face off against Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics on Thursday evening.
