On Tuesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers lost Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals to the Denver Nuggets by a score of 132-126 (on the road in Colorado).
They got off to a terrible start to the game (trailing 72-54 at halftime) but were able to come alive in the second half, winning the final two quarters by 12 points.
After the game, head coach Darvin Ham met with the media and one of his quotes is going viral on Twitter (Ham's full media availability can be watched here).
Ham: "There's no doubt in my mind when we come out for Game 2, will be ready. Will go back and do what we need to do for our team physically, start the recovery process now. Break down of film, watch what we need to watch. Thank God it's a best of 7. It's not the NCAA Tournament. It's the first to four. Will be okay. Trust me."
"We'll be okay. Trust me."

Anthony Davis was sensational, putting up 40 points, ten rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks.
However, two-time MVP Nikola Jokic was even better, with 34 points, 21 rebounds, 14 assists and two blocks.
Over the last 50 years, Anthony Davis and Nikola Jokic are the 3rd pair of opposing starting centers to each have 30 points in a playoff game.

The biggest difference maker in the game was the supporting casts for both teams, as the Nuggets had more role players step up (six players on the team scored in double-digits).
Game 2 will be back in Denver before the two teams go to Los Angeles for Games 3 and 4.
The winner of the series will advance to the 2023 NBA Finals.
