Dejounte Murray's Instagram Post After Hawks-Heat Game
On Friday evening, Dejounte Murray and the Atlanta Hawks faced off against Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat in Florida.
The Hawks were playing without their best player (Trae Young), but they were able to come away with a 108-107 victory.
With two seconds left (and the Hawks down 107-105), Murray made a three-pointer to win the game.
The shot was his second straight game-winner, as he also made a buzzer-beater in Wednesday's 106-104 victory over the Orlando Magic.
Murray finished his night with 22 points, three rebounds, 11 assists and two steals while shooting 9/22 from the field and 3/7 from the three-point range in 40 minutes of playing time.
Following the game, the 2022 NBA All-Star made a post to Instagram with a clip of his game-winning shot against Miami.
With the victory, the Hawks improved to 18-23 in their first 41 games, which has them as the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are playing much better over the last few weeks and are in the middle of a three-game winning streak.
Murray is averaging 21.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 46.9% from the field and 38.5% from the three-point range in 41 games.
Following the Heat, the Hawks will host Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday evening at State Farm Arena in Georgia.
As for the Heat, they dropped to 24-18 in their first 42 games, which has them as the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference.
