Dejounte Murray's Viral Tweet After The Hawks Beat The Celtics
On Tuesday evening, the Atlanta Hawks defeated the Boston Celtics on the road in Massachusetts by a score of 119-117 in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series.
With the victory, the Hawks forced a Game 6, as the series is now 3-2 (in favor of the Celtics).
2022 NBA All-Star Dejounte Murray was suspended for Tuesday's game, but superstar point guard Trae Young came up huge with 38 points, four rebounds, 13 assists and two steals in 44 minutes of playing time.
He also hit the game-winning shot with 1.8 seconds left.
After the big win, Murray sent out a tweet that had over 11,000 likes in less than 24 hours.
Murray tweeted: "LETS HEAD BACK TO ATLANTA !!!! I Love My Team. ALL FIGHT Against All Odds!!!! ATLANTA VS EVERYBODY!!!!!!! @TheTraeYoung BOIIIIIIIIIIIIII YOU BEEN THAT!!!!!"
Game 6 will be at State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Thursday night, and if the Hawks win, Game 7 will be back in Boston on Saturday.
The Hawks lost Games 1 and 2 in Boston and then split Games 3 and 4 at home.
After finishing the regular season as the eighth seed, the Hawks beat the Miami Heat in the play-in tournament, so they are the seventh seed.
Meanwhile, the Celtics were one of the best teams in the league this season and are the second seed.
Whoever wins the series will advance to the second round and face off against the Philadelphia 76ers (who swept the Brooklyn Nets in the first round).
