DeMar DeRozan's Honest Quote After The Bulls Lost To The Heat

On Friday night, the Chicago Bulls lost their final play-in tournament game to the Miami Heat 102-91 on the road in Florida.
The Heat are now the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference and will face off with the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
Meanwhile, the Bulls will head home for the 2023 offseason.
After making the NBA Playoffs (last season) for the first time since 2017, the Bulls had an extremely disappointing season.
They went 40-42 and finished as the tenth seed, and while they were able to beat the Toronto Raptors 109-105 in their first play-in tournament game, they will not be playing in the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
All-Star DeMar DeRozan finished his night with 26 points, four rebounds, nine assists and one steal in 41 minutes of playing time.
After the game, he met with the media (video via Darnell Mayberry of The Athletic).
DeRozan: "This one hurt. I ain't even gon' lie. Sh***y feeling right now, sucks. Shouldn't have ended like that. We gave ourselves an opportunity to win the game."

This was DeRozan's second season playing for the Bulls, and he averaged an excellent 24.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.1 steals per contest in 74 regular season games while shooting 50.4% from the field.
At 33 years old, the former USC star is still among the top shooting guards in the entire NBA.
Prior to the Bulls, he also had stints with the San Antonio Spurs and Toronto Raptors.
