On Friday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors 122-101 in Game 6 of their second-round playoff series.

With the victory, they have advanced to the Western Conference Finals, while the Warriors have been eliminated from the 2023 NBA Playoffs.

During the game, veteran point guard Dennis Schroder was ejected after receiving his second technical foul.

Both technical fouls came from Schroder's interactions with Draymond Green.

After the game, Schroder made a post to Instagram with seven photos (six of them were of him and Green).

Based on his caption, it appears as if there is nothing but respect between the two players.

Schroder's caption: "WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS!!! 💜💛 One of the biggest competitors there is !!! @money23green A lot of respect for you 💐 HOF"

Schroder is in his second tenure with the Lakers after signing with the franchise over the offseason.

He was the team's starting point guard in 2021 and then played for the Boston Celtics and Houston Rockets in 2022.

The 29-year-old has been a vital role player for the Lakers and averaged 12.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per contest during the regular season.

He was also inserted into the starting lineup for Game 6 and had three points, two rebounds, five assists and one block in 25 minutes before getting ejected.

The Lakers will now face off against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets, and Game 1 will be on Tuesday evening in Denver, Colorado.
