On Tuesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors 117-112 at the Chase Center in Game 1 of their second-round playoff series.

Anthony Davis was brilliant, putting up 30 points, 23 rebounds, five assists and four blocks while shooting 11/19 from the field in 44 minutes of playing time.

The eight-time All-Star has been unbelievable during the 2023 NBA Playoffs and has averages of 22.1 points, 15.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.1 steals and 4.3 blocks per contest.

After the game, veteran point guard Dennis Schroder (who finished with 19 points, two rebounds, three assists and one steal) sent out a tweet that is going viral.

Schroder tweeted: "THE BROW 🔥💯 Big W #LakersWin"

Schroder is in his second tenure with the Lakers after signing with the franchise over the offseason (he had been their starting point guard in 2021).

The 29-year-old has been one of the team's most important role players this year.

During the regular season, he averaged 12.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per contest.

Coming into the night, the Warriors were 35-9 in the 44 games they had hosted on their home floor at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

Game 2 will be back in San Francisco on Thursday evening, and the Lakers will have an excellent chance to take a commanding 2-0 lead back to Los Angeles for Games 3 and 4.

In the first round, the Lakers beat the Memphis Grizzlies in six games, while the Warriors defeated the Sacramento Kings in seven.

Whoever wins the series will advance to the Western Conference Finals and face off against either the Denver Nuggets or Phoenix Suns.
