The Denver Nuggets have assigned Hunter Tyson to the G League.

On Thursday, it's been announced that the Nuggets have assigned Tyson to the G League.

Come watch Nuggets player, Hunter Tyson, at our Home Opener this Sunday, Nov. 12!"

Tyson played his college basketball for Clemson (five seasons), and last year, he averaged 15.3 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest while shooting 47.9% from the field and 40.5% from the three-point range in 34 games.

He will likely spend a lot of time in the G League this season, so he can get more playing time.

As for the Nuggets, they most recently played against Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors (at home in Colorado) on Wednesday and won by a score of 108-105.

Nikola Jokic led the way with 35 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, three steals and one block while shooting 14/25 from the field in 37 minutes of playing time.

They are now 8-1 in their first nine games, which has them as the first seed in the Western Conference and will play their next game against the Houston Rockets (on Sunday) in Texas.

The Nuggets are coming off a year where they were the first seed in the Western Conference with a 53-29 record.

They won the 2023 NBA Championship over Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat (in five games).
