According to Mike Singer of the Denver Post, the Denver Nuggets will sign Andrew Funk and Armaan Franklin for training camp.

Over the offseason, teams around the NBA will sign players to deals that will result in them joining the team for training camp and going to the G League during the regular season.  

On Tuesday, Mike Singer of the Denver Post (h/t Hoops Rumors) reports that the Denver Nuggets will sign Andrew Funk and Armaan Franklin for training camp.  

Franklin and Funk both played for the Nuggets during NBA Summer League.  

Via Singer's first tweet: "The #Nuggets have reached exhibit-10s with Andrew Funk and Armaan Franklin, a league source told @denverpost."

Via Singer's second tweet: "Both will be in training camp, and likely available for Denver’s G League squad."

Funk played five seasons of college basketball (four for Bucknell and one for Penn State). 

This past year, he averaged 12.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists per contest while shooting 44.4% from the field and 41.2% from the three-point range in 37 games. 

He improved in a significant way as a three-point shooter, as this was his only season shooting above 36.3% from deep. 

Meanwhile, Franklin spent two seasons with Indiana and two with Virginia. 

This past year, he averaged 12.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest while shooting 42.4% from the field and 37.3% from the three-point range in 33 games. 

As for the Nuggets, they were the first seed in the Western Conference with a 53-29 record. 

They defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat to win the 2023 NBA Championship.
