Draymond Green getting ejected from a game is nothing new for NBA fans and he once again was ejected from a game, this time in Game 2 of the Golden State Warriors versus Sacramento Kings first-round playoff series.

In the fourth quarter of Game 2, Green’s leg was grabbed by Kings center Domantas Sabonis, who was on the ground, and the Warriors’ All-Star reacted by stomping fiercely on Sabonis’ chest.

After a lengthy review, Green was issued a Flagrant Foul Penalty 2 and Sabonis was given just one technical foul.

While many are not condoning Draymond’s reaction to Sabonis grabbing his leg, many on NBA Twitter have been defending Draymond Green, while others continue to call him a dirty player.

Given that Draymond Green was ejected from the game, this sequence will automatically be reviewed by the league and harsher penalties could be handed out to both Green and Sabonis depending on the league’s findings.

There is no doubt that what Green did was unacceptable and warranted an ejection based on the league’s rules, but Sabonis only receiving a technical foul and staying in the game was a surprise to many, as Domantas Sabonis’ actions of grabbing Green’s leg cause the incident to occur.

Defeating the Warriors 114-106, the Kings have now taken a 2-0 series lead over the defending NBA champions. Game 3 will be played in San Francisco on Thursday, April 20.
