Giannis Antetokounmpo's Current Injury Status For Knicks-Bucks Game
UPDATE: Giannis Antetokounmpo is available (h/t Eric Nehm of The Athletic).
On Sunday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks will host Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks in Wisconsin.
For the game, they cold be without their best player, as two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is on the injury report.
Antetokounmpo missed the team's last game, so this would be his second straight out of the starting lineup (if he doesn't play).
Via Tommy Beer: "The Bucks have listed Giannis Antetokounmpo (hamstring) as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Knicks.
Giannis did not play in Friday’s loss to the Raptors."
Antetokounmpo is in the middle of another sensational season with averages of 30.7 points, 11.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 61.3% from the field and 27.6% from the three-point range in 71 games.
The Bucks enter the evening as the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 47-30 record in 77 games.
They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a three-game losing streak.
Most recently, the Bucks lost to the Toronto Raptors (at home) by a score of 117-111.
Following New York, they will host the Boston Celtics on Tuesday evening.
As for the Knicks, they come into the matchup as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 45-32 recrod in 77 games.
They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games.
Following their matchup with the Bucks, the Knicks will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they visit the Chicago Bulls.
