Giannis Antetokounmpo's Current Injury Status For Raptors-Bucks Game

UPDATE: Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out (h/t Eric Nehm of The Athletic).

On Friday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks will host the Toronto Raptors in Canada.

For the game, the Bucks will likely be without their best player, as two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is on the injury report.

Via Underdog NBA: "Giannis Antetokounmpo (hamstring) now listed doubtful Friday."

Antetokounmpo is averaging 30.7 points, 11.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 61.3% from the field and 27.6% from the three-point range in 71 games.

The Bucks are the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 47-29 record in 76 games.

They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game losing streak.

Most recently, the Bucks lost to the Memphis Grizzlies by a score of 111-101.

Antetokounmpo had 21 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, one steal and five blocks while shooting 10/23 from the field and 0/4 from the three-point range in 32 minutes of playing time.

Following Toronto, the Bucks will play their next game on Sunday evening when they host the New York Knicks in Wisconsin.

As for the Raptors, they have had a tough season and are the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 23-53 record in 76 games.

They are currently in the middle of a 15-game losing streak.

Most recently, the Raptors lost to the Minnesota Timberwovles by a score of 133-85.

Following their matchup with the Bucks, the Raptors will play their next game on Sunday evening when they host the Washington Wizards in Canada.
