On Friday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will play the Denver Nuggets in Colorado.

For the game, the Timberwolves could be without one of their best players, as starting center Rudy Gobert is on the injury report.

Via Underdog NBA: "Rudy Gobert (rib) questionable for Friday."

Gobert is in the middle of another productive season with averages of 13.6 points, 12.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 2.1 blocks per contest while shooting 65.1% from the field in 66 games.

The Timberwolves are the second seed in the Western Conference with a 50-22 record in 72 games.

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a three-game winning streak.

Most recently, the Timberwolves beat the Detroit Pistons (at home) by a score of 106-91.

Gobert had 11 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and two blocks while shooting 5/5 from the field in 34 minutes of playing time.

Following the Nuggets, the Timberwolves will host DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls at the Target Center on Sunday evening in Minnesota.

As for the Nuggets, they are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 51-22 record in 73 games.

They have gone 8-2 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Phoenix Suns by a score of 104-97.

Following the Timberwolves, the Nuggets will play their next game on Sunday afternoon when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers.

At home, the Nuggets are 29-7 in 36 games, while the Timberwolves are 24-13 in 37 games on the road.
