The Golden State Warriors have had an up-and-down season, but they have played great basketball over the last week.

They came into Friday's matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans on a four-game winning streak.

In each of their last two games, they trailed by double-digits at halftime and rallied back to win in a blowout.

According to Elias Sports (via ESPN Stats & Info), they are the first team in NBA history to win back-to-back games by 15+ points after trailing by 10+ points at halftime.

Via ESPN Stats & Info: "On Tuesday, the Warriors trailed by 17 points at half before winning by 18.

On Thursday they trailed by 11, before winning by 24.

According to @EliasSports they are the 1st team in NBA history to win consecutive games by 15+ Pts after trailing by 10 or more at halftime."

On Tuesday, the Warriors beat the Portland Trail Blazers 123-105, and Jordan Poole led the way with 29 points, five rebounds and six assists.

Klay Thompson also had 23 points, eight rebounds and four assists.

The Warriors then beat the Clippers 115-91 on Thursday evening, and Poole was once again the leading scorer with 34 points.

Thompson had 19 points and 11 rebounds, and Draymond Green had 11 points, nine rebounds and nine assists.

Even more impressive, the Warriors have done all this without their best player Steph Curry (who missed his 11th straight game on Friday night).

That said, Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report and the NBA on TNT reported on Thursday night that the two-time MVP "intends to make his return on Sunday" when the Warriors visit the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Warriors entered Friday night as the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 33-30 record.

They have won the NBA Championship in four of the previous eight seasons.
