On Thursday evening, the Golden State Warriors will host Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.  

Before the game (on Wednesday), the team announced that they had made a roster move by assigning Gui Santos to the Santa Cruz Warriors (G League).   

Via Warriors PR: "The Golden State Warriors have assigned forward Gui Santos to the team's G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, it was announced today."

Santos was the 55th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft and is in his rookie season.

He has appeared in four games with the Warriors and has averages of 3.3 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 57.1% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range.

The 21-year-old has also spent a lot of time with Santa Cruz and is averaging 14.9 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists per contest while shooting 48.5% from the field and 29.5% from the three-point range in 15 games. 

As for the Warriors, they are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 15-15 record in their first 30 games. 

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Denver Nuggets by a score of 120-114. 

On the road, the Warriors are 6-9 in 15 games, while they are 9-6 in the 15 games they have played at home. 

Following the Heat, they will host Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday evening at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
