On Friday evening, the Golden State Warriors will be at the United Center to face off against the Chicago Bulls.

Before the game, the team made a roster move by assigning Gui Santos to the G League.  

Via Warriors PR: "The Golden State Warriors have assigned forward Gui Santos to the team's G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, it was announced today."

Santos has played in five games for the Warriors and has averages of 3.0 points and 2.2 rebounds per contest while shooting 40.0% from the field.  

He was the 55th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft and signed with the team earlier this season, so this is his rookie year. 

In addition to the Warriors, Santos has spent a lot of time with Santa Cruz (G League). 

He is currently averaging 12.8 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists per contest while shooting 39.5% from the field and 32.0% from the three-point range in four regular season games. 

As for the Warriors, they are the 12th seed in the Western Conference with a 17-20 record in their first 37 games.  

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

On the road, the Warriors have gone 6-9 in the 15 games they have played away from the Chase Center in San Francisco. 

Meanwhile, the Bulls are the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference with an 18-21 record in their first 39 games. 

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and are 6-4 over their last ten games.
