On Sunday night, the Golden State Warriors are hosting the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.   

Before the game, the team announced that they had recalled Patrick Baldwin Jr. from the Santa Cruz Warriors (their G League affiliate).   

Via Warriors PR: "The 2022 NBA Champion Golden State Warriors have recalled forward Patrick Baldwin Jr. from the team's G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, it was announced today."

Baldwin Jr. was the 28th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft this past summer (out of Milwaukee).

The 20-year-old has played in 26 games for the Warriors and has averages of 4.4 points and 1.4 rebounds per contest.

In 11 G League regular season games, Baldwin Jr. is averaging 14.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest.

As for the Warriors, they are the sixth seed (the final guaranteed playoff spot) in the Western Conference with a 39-36 record in 75 games.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game winning streak.

At home, the Warriors have been sensational, going 30-7 in the 37 games they have hosted at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.

The franchise has won the NBA Championship in four out of the previous eight seasons (including last year).

Meanwhile, the Timberwolves are 37-37 in 74 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the west.

They are on a two-game winning streak and 16-20 in the 36 games they have played on the road away from the Target Center.
