On Friday evening, the Golden State Warriors will play the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena in Georgia.

The team is coming off a 134-126 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday in Los Angeles, which began the first of a five-game road trip.

According to Shams Charania and Anthony Slater of The Athletic (on Thursday evening), the Warriors have made two roster moves.

Charania's first tweet: "The Golden State Warriors are converting two-way forward Anthony Lamb to a standard NBA contract for the remainder of the season, making Lamb playoff-eligible, sources tell me and @anthonyVslater. Lamb has developed into a strong rotation piece for Warriors."

Charania's second tweet: "The Golden State Warriors are signing guard Lester Quinones on two-way NBA deal using the open roster from Anthony Lamb's standard contract, sources tell me and @anthonyVslater."

Lamb has played in 50 games for the Warriors this season and has solid averages of 7.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 20 minutes of playing time per contest.

He's also shooting 47.5% from the field and 37.9% from the three-point range, so the 25-year-old is getting a well-earned promotion.

Meanwhile, Quinones went undrafted out of Memphis this past summer and has yet to make his NBA debut.

That said, he is having an excellent season in the G League with averages of 21.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists per contest in 26 regular season games.

Right now, the Warriors are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 36-34 record in 70 games.

They are 6-4 in their last ten games but just 7-27 in 34 games on the road away from the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
