Trae Young's Nutmeg On Kevin Durant Went Viral In NBA All-Star Game
UPDATE: The Eastern Conference won by a score of 211-186, and Trae Young had five points, three rebounds and seven assists.
On Sunday evening, the NBA All-Star Game is being held in Indianapolis, Indiana.
During the first half, Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young pulled off a miraculous highlight on Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant.
The former Oklahoma star was being guarded by Durant and put the ball between his legs before finishing off the play with a floater.
Young has had many impressive nutmeg highlights during his career, so it's one of his signature moves.
Young is in the middle of another fantastic season with averages of 26.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 10.9 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 42.7% from the field and 37.1% from the three-point range in 50 games.
He is in his sixth season in the league and playing in his third NBA All-Star Game.
Over the previous three seasons, Young has led the Hawks to the playoffs each year, and they reached the Eastern Conference Finals in 2021.
At just 25, he has established himself as one of the best (and most exciting) point guards in league history.
Meanwhile, Durant is one of the greatest players of all time and a future first-ballot Hall of Famer.
At 35, he still remains among the best ten players in the league.
The 14-time NBA All-Star is averaging a sensational 28.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.3 blocks per contest while shooting 53.8% from the field and 44.3% from the three-point range in 48 games.
As for the Suns, they are the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 33-22 record in 55 games.
