Here's The Video Stephen A. Smith Tweeted About Kyrie Irving's Instagram Live
The NBA Twitter world was very active on Wednesday evening after Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving went on Instagram live out of nowhere to discuss his current situation.
A clip from the Instagram live of Irving discussing the retirement rumors, his vaccination status and all that pertains to him right now, can be seen in a video that was Tweeted by NBA Central embedded below.
"Don't believe that I'm retiring," Irving said in the Instagram live video. "Don't believe that Imma give up this game for a vaccine mandate, or staying unvaccinated."
After Irving went live, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith Tweeted out a video discussing what Irving said (see Tweet with video from Smith embedded below).
"Good lord have mercy," Smith said at the beginning of the video he Tweeted.
The Brooklyn Nets begin their season on October 19 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where they will play Giannis Antetokounmpo and the defending NBA Champion Milwaukee Bucks.
The Bucks are also the team that beat the Nets in the second round of the playoffs last season, and Irving got hurt in Game 4 and did not return for the remainder of the season.
