The Houston Rockets played their last game on Sunday when they defeated the Denver Nuggets by a score of 107-104 (at home in Texas).

They are now 6-3 in their first nine games and in the middle of a six-game winning streak.

On Thursday, the team made two roster moves.

Via Jonathan Feigen of The Houston Chronicle: "Rockets recall Cam Whitmore and Nate Hinton from the RGV Vipers in the G League, team says. Both played well in Vipers' win last night. Vipers have a break in their schedule."

Whitmore was the 20th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and has played in three games for the Rockets so far this season.

He is averaging 2.3 points and 1.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 33.3% from the field.

Meanwhile, Hinton is in his third season in the NBA and has played in two games for the Rockets.

He is averaging 3.0 points per contest while shooting 50.0% from the field.

The Rockets are currently tied for the fourth seed in the Western Conference and have been among the best surprises to start the new season.

Last year, they were the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 22-60 record and missed the NBA playoffs for the third straight season.

Following the victory over the Nuggets, the Rockets will play their next game against the Los Angeles Clippers in California on Friday evening.

They will play three games on the road before returning home to host the Memphis Grizzlies next Wednesday.
