Jayson Tatum Made NBA History On Sunday Night
On Sunday night, the 2023 NBA All-Star Game took place in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The best player on the floor during the game was Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum.
He exploded for 55 points, ten rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block in 35 minutes of playing time.
The performance made NBA history, as he is now the first player to ever score 50+ points in the All-Star Game, regular season and NBA Playoffs (via Matt Williams of ESPN).
Williams tweeted: "Jayson Tatum is the first player in NBA history to have a 50-point game in a...
Regular-season game

All-Star Game
He also has a 50-point game in a Play-In Tournament Game."
Without surprise, the former Duke star won the All-Star Game MVP as he led Team Giannis to a 184-175 victory over Team LeBron.
Donovan Mitchell was the second-highest scorer in the game (40 points), while Jaylen Brown led Team LeBron with 35 points, 14 rebounds and five assists.
Tatum has made the All-Star Game four times in a row and is one of the top 15 players in the NBA.
At just 24 years old, he has already played in the Eastern Conference Finals three times and led the Celtics to the NBA Finals in 2022.
The Celtics have picked up right where they left off last season because they went into the All-Star break as the best team in the NBA.
They are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 42-17 record in 59 games.
