Jimmy Butler's Game-Winning Shot Is Going Viral In Bulls-Heat Game
On Saturday evening, the Miami Heat hosted the Chicago Bulls in Florida.
The Heat had the ball for the final possession of the game, and with the score tied at 116-116, Jimmy Butler made the game-winning shot as time expired.
Butler finished his night with 28 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals while shooting 9/18 from the field in 35 minutes of playing time.
He is now averaging 21.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 46.4% from the field and 38.0% from the three-point range in 22 games.
The Heat improved to 15-11 in their first 26 games, which has them as the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are also 7-5 in the 12 games they have hosted on their home floor in Miami.
Following the Bulls, the Heat will play their next game on Monday evening when they host Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
In addition to Butler's big night, the Heat had excellent production from Kevin Love, who came off the bench and put up 22 points, seven rebounds, one assist and one steal while shooting 8/12 from the field and 6/10 from the three-point range.
As for the Bulls, they dropped to 10-17 in their first 27 games, which has them as the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are 3-10 in the 13 games they have played on the road away from the United Center.
Following the Heat, the Bulls will play their next game on Monday when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers.
