Joel Embiid's Current Injury Status For 76ers-Grizzlies Game

On Saturday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers will be in Memphis for a showdown with the Grizzlies.
For the game, they could be without their best player, as 2023 MVP Joel Embiid is on the injury report.

Embiid is averaging 34.8 points, 10.9 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.7 blocks per contest while shooting 52.8% from the field and 36.4% from the three-point range in 36 games.
The 76ers are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 42-35 record in 77 games.
They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a three-game winning streak.
Most recently, the 76ers defeated the Miami Heat (on the road) by a score of 109-105.
Embiid had 29 points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block while shooting 11/25 from the field and 3/6 from the three-point range in 33 minutes of playing time.
Following the Grizzlies, the 76ers will play their next game on Sunday evening when they visit the San Antonio Spurs in Texas.
As for the Grizzlies, they have had a tough season, and are the 13th seed in the Western Conference with a 27-50 record in 77 games.
They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a three-game winning streak.
Following the 76ers, the Grizzlies will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they host the San Antonio Spurs.
