Joel Embiid's Current Injury Status For Pistons-76ers Game

On Tuesday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers will host the Detroit Pistons in Pennsylvania.
For the game, the 76ers could be without their best player, as 2023 MVP Joel Embiid is on the injury report.
Embiid missed the team's last game, so this would be his second straight out of the starting lineup (if he doesn't play).

Embiid has only played in 37 games this season.
However, he has excellent averages of 34.7 points, 11.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.7 blocks per contest while shooting 53.1% from the field and 37.4% from the three-point range.
The 76ers are the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 44-35 record in 79 games.
They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a five-game winning streak.
Most recently, the 76ers beat the San Antonio Spurs (in overtime) by a score of 133-126.
Following the Pistons, they will play their next game on Friday evening when they host the Orlando Magic.
As for the Pistons, they are the 15th seed in the Eastern Conference (and the worst team in the NBA) with a 13-65 record in 78 games.
They have gone 1-9 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a four-game losing streak.
Following their matchup with the 76ers, the Pistons will play their next game on Thursday evening when they host the Chicago Bulls in Detroit, Michigan.
