On Wednesday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers will play the Miami Heat (at home) for the play-in tournament.
Joel Embiid had been listed as questionable, but the 2023 MVP has been officially upgraded to available.

The 76ers are the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 47-35 record.
They have gone 8-2 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of an eight-game winning streak.
Whoever wins the game will be the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference and face off against the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
Meanwhile, the loser will face off against either the Atlanta Hawks or Chicago Bulls for a chance to be the eighth seed (and play the Boston Celtics in the first round of the NBA playoffs).
As for the Heat, they finished the regular season with a 46-36 record.
They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games.
Last season, the Heat defeated the Chicago Bulls in the play-in tournament.
Following the Bulls, they beat the Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks and Boston Celtics before losing to Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets in the NBA Finals.
