Joel Embiid's Current Injury Status For 76ers-Heat Game

On Thursday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers will be in Florida to face off against the Miami Heat.
For the game, the 76ers could be without their best player, as 2023 MVP Joel Embiid is on the injury report.
Via Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer: "The Sixers’ Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris all participated in this morning’s shootaround for tonight’s game vs. the Miami Heat. The trio, along with Mo Bamba, remain questionable."
Embiid has had an excellent season with averages of 35.0 points, 11.1 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.7 blocks per contest while shooting 53.1% from the field and 35.7% from the three-point range in 35 games.
The 76ers are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 41-35 record in 76 games.
They have gone 5-5 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak.
Most recently, the 76ers defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 109-105.
Embiid had 24 points, six rebounds, seven assists and three steals while shooting 6/14 from the field and 0/3 from the three-point range in 29 minutes of playing time.
Following the Heat, the 76ers will play their next game on Saturday evening when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies.
As for the Heat, they are the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 42-33 record in 75 games.
They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a three-game winning streak.
