Joel Embiid Made NBA History In Timberwolves-76ers Game
On Wednesday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves in Pennsylvania.
The 76ers took control in the fourth quarter and won the game by a score of 127-113.
Joel Embiid had another fantastic night, putting up 51 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block while shooting 17/25 from the field in 36 minutes of playing time.
He also made NBA history during the game.

Embiid has played in 24 games so far this season and is averaging 35.1 points, 11.8 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.9 blocks per contest while shooting 54.1% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range.
The 76ers are 19-8 in their first 27 games, which has them as the third seed in the Eastern Conference.
They are 7-3 over their last ten games and 11-4 in the 15 games they have played on their home floor.
Following the Timberwolves, the 76ers will now host the Toronto Raptors on Friday evening.
Embiid was the third pick in the 2014 NBA Draft out of Kansas and is in his eighth season playing in the league (all with the 76ers).
The 29-year-old won the 2023 MVP and has made the All-Star Game in each of the previous six seasons.
His career averages are 27.6 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.7 blocks per contest while shooting 50.3% from the field.
