Embiid is indeed on track to return tonight in Game 2 vs. Celtics barring setbacks, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.
On Wednesday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers will be in Massachusetts to face off against the Boston Celtics for Game 2 of their second-round playoff series.
For the game, they will likely remain without their best player, as Joel Embiid has been listed as doubtful on the injury report.

The 76ers swept the Brooklyn Nets in the first round, and Embiid did not play in Game 4.
He also missed Game 1 against the Celtics, but they were still able to win 119-115 behind James Harden's 45 points on Monday night.

Embiid had another sensational regular season with averages of 33.1 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.7 blocks per contest while shooting 54.8% from the field in 66 games.
On Tuesday night, the 29-year-old was officially named the 2023 NBA MVP.

The 76ers finished the regular season with a 54-28 record, which got them the third seed in the Eastern Conference.
They will have an excellent chance to take a commanding 2-0 lead back home to Philadelphia if they can get a victory on Wednesday.
As for the Celtics, they are the second seed and went 57-25.
Last year, the 76ers lost in the second round, while the Celtics made the NBA Finals (they lost to the Golden State Warriors in six games).
Whoever wins the series will advance to the Conference Finals and face off against either the New York Knicks or Miami Heat.
That series is currently tied up at 1-1, and Game 3 will be in Miami on Saturday night.
