On Tuesday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers will host the Oklahoma City Thunder in Pennsylvania.

For the game, the 76ers could get their best player back in the starting lineup, as ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Joel Embiid will likely be available.

Via Wojnarowski: "Sixers star Joel Embiid is indeed expected to make his return vs. Oklahoma City tonight, sources tell ESPN."

Embiid played his last game on Janaury 30.

Before his extended absence, the 2023 MVP had been in the middle of a sensational season with averages of 35.3 points, 11.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.8 blocks per contest while shooting 53.3% from the field and 36.6% from the three-point range in 34 games.

The 76ers are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 40-35 record in 75 games.

They have gone 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Toronto Rapotrs (on the road) by a score of 135-120.

Following their matchup with Oklahoma City, the 76ers will play their next game on Thursday evening when they visit Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat in Florida.

As for the Thunder, they are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 52-22 record in 74 games.

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak.

Following their showdown with the 76ers, the Thunder will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they visit Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics in Massachusetts.
