UPDATE: Jonathan Kuminga has been ruled out (h/t Underdog NBA).

On Thursday evening, the Golden State Warriors will be in Texas for a showdown with the Houston Rockets.

For the game, the Warriors could be without one of their best players, as Jonathan Kuminga is on the injury report.

The 2022 NBA Champion has missed each of the previous four games, so this would be his fifth straight out of action (if he doesn't play).

Via Anthony Slater of The Athletic on Wednesday: "Jonathan Kuminga officially listed as questionable for the Warriors tomorrow in Houston, though Steve Kerr indicated the plan is for Kuminga to return. Gary Payton II probable with left ankle soreness. Everyone else available."

Kuminga has had a productive season with averages of 16.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest while shooting 52.9% from the field and 31.6% from the three-point range in 70 games.

The Warriors are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 41-34 record in 75 games.

They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a five-game winning streak.

Following Houston, the Warriors will visit Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks on Friday evening.

As for the Rockets, they are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 38-37 record in 75 games.

They have gone 8-2 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game losing streak.

Following Golden State, the Rockets will play their next game on Friday evening when they host the Miami Heat.
