Jordan Poole Reached A Career Milestone During Wizards-Trail Blazers Game
On Thursday evening, the Washington Wizards faced off against the Portland Trail Blazers in Oregon.
The Wizards won by a score of 118-117.
During the game, Jordan Poole reached a career milestone by dishing out his 1,000th career assist.
Poole finished his night with 13 points, two rebounds, six assists and one steal while shooting 4/13 from the field in 34 minutes of playing time.

Poole came into the evening with averages of 17.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 41.6% from the field and 32.5% from the three-point range in 25 games.
With the victory, the Wizards improved to 5-22 in their first 27 games, which has them as the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference.
They snapped a two-game losing streak and are 3-14 in the 17 games they have played on the road.
Following the Trail Blazers, the Wizards will now go to San Francisco to face off against Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors on Friday evening at the Chase Center.
Poole was the 28th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft out of Michigan and spent the first four seasons of his career with the Golden State Warriors.
He helped the franchise make the playoffs twice, and they won the 2022 NBA Championship over the Boston Celtics.
His career averages are 15.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists per contest while shooting 42.1% from the field and 33.8% from the three-point range.
