Jordan Poole Made Golden State Warriors History On Sunday
On Sunday afternoon, the Golden State Warriors lost 113-105 to the Los Angeles Lakers (on the road).
Jordan Poole finished his day with ten points, four rebounds and three assists in 28 minutes of playing time.
During the game, he made Warriors franchise history as he passed Latrell Sprewell to move to seventh on their three-pointers list.
Warriors: "Got that ⚡in him.
Jordan Poole has passed Latrell Sprewell for 7th most-made threes in franchise history."
Poole has now made 553 three-pointers for his career, and the other six players on the list in front of him are Chris Mullin, Tim Hardaway, Draymond Green, Jason Richardson, Klay Thompson and Steph Curry.
He is only 38 away from passing Mullin (590) for sixth, so he should be able to do that soon.
The former Michigan star is in his fourth season in the NBA (all with the Warriors) and has become one of the better young stars in the league.
Last season, he helped the Warriors win the NBA Championship over the Boston Celtics, and right now, he is averaging 20.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists per contest.
Every season he has been in the NBA, his points per contest have improved.
The Warriors are 34-31 in 65 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Western Conference.
Their loss to the Lakers snapped a five-game winning streak, but they are still 6-4 in their last ten games.
On Tuesday, the Warriors will play the Oklahoma City Thunder in Oklahoma.
