On Friday evening, the Boston Celtics will host the Sacramento Kings in Massachusetts.

Before the game, the Celtics announced that they had made a roster move by recalling Jordan Walsh from the Maine Celtics (G League).

Walsh was the 38th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft out of Arkansas.

He is averaging 1.0 points and 2.2 rebounds per contest while shooting 37.5% from the field in six games.

Walsh has also spent a lot of time in the G League and averaged 14.7 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 42.8% from the field and 36.1% from the three-point range in 27 regular season games.

As for the Celtics, they have had an incredible season and are the first seed in the Eastern Conference (and the best team in the NBA) with a 60-16 record in 76 games.

They have gone 8-2 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a three-game winning streak.

Following their showdown with Sacramento, the Celtics will play their next game on Sunday evening when they host the Portland Trail Blazers in Boston.

As for the Kings, they are the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 44-32 record in 76 games.

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games.

Following Boston, the Kings will play their next game on Sunday evening when they visit the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center in New York.
